Facilities

At THIBS we have various facilities available for our researchers and guests. We have two bedrooms available in the main building. We also have a private cabina available for those who want to stay outside of the main house. For those that enjoy sleeping in a tent, we have plenty of yard space available for a small fee.

There are two showers, and two flushing toilets adjoined to the outside of the house. The kitchen is available to all who stay at THIBS. It has a refrigerator/small freezer, sink, and stove. You will find that the kitchen is stocked with all of the utensils that you may need to cook your own meals comfortably. The kitchen area is located downstairs in the main building, so early risers do not have to worry to much about invading other guests in the main house.

Private Cabina

This one room cabina, is available for tourists and students. It is set away from the house, and offers privacy for those desiring it.

THIBS is located near the end of the road in the village of Playa Azul. You can see many crocodiles on the banks of the Tarcoles River, in front of the house.
